Over the years, WCC have been equipped with the state-of-the-art equipments and facilities through funds from various channels, including the university equipment budget, industrial sponsorship and research grants. Our antenna measurement system features 8 m long x 5 m wide x 5 m height tapered anechoic chamber, scanner and an automated data acquisition system. The anechoic chamber provides an RF proof environment where both the antenna and measurement devices are isolated from outside interference and stray field. It is very important in performing measurements of antenna radiation patterns. Antenna radiation pattern can be illustrated in 2D and 3D plots. Our anechoic chamber is suitable for antenna measurement with frequency range from 100 MHz to 40 GHz, cable to extend up to 60 GHz. This range of frequency is ideal in covering wide range of communication services such as mobile, satellite, broadcasting and fixed services.
