The research team of UTM has wide experience in research and development. The project leader, Prof. Zaini, has involved in this research area since 1990. He is also actively involved in consultancy work for the design and problem retrofitting of wastewater treatment plants, including in oil palm sector. As a Professional Engineer (Malaysia) and Chartered Engineer (UK), he has  been consulted by various regulatory agencies to provide insight and advice on process design, control and problem solving related to wastewater treatment facilities, both municipal and industrial wastewater systems.

Sakti Suria Sdn Bhd has vast experience and networking in oil palm industry. The technical team of Sakti Suria involves in designing and fabrication of the pilot plant systems, as well as marketing the product/innovation.

The technical team of Pertubuhan Peladang Negeri Johor is highly qualified in design and operation of two palm oil mills. The mill in Kahang, Johor is equipped with the state-of-the-art in the country, with sophisticated facilities for wastewater treatment system. The spirit of innovation and adapting new technologies has generate  interest and provide wide spectrum of possibilities for PPNJ  to involve in this project.
