Database & Information Retrieval research group is one of the main research groups in the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Systems. This research group is very active in databases and information retrieval researches. Researches under databases and information retrieval group cover many areas including web-based mining, data mining, data warehousing, search engine, spatio-temporal databases, content-based retrieval, object-relational databases, database integration, database securities, multimedia and micro-array data. At present there are many researches carried out by the members of the team. The group is also active in publication either at the national or international levels.
