As FSKSM moved into the new millennium in the year 2000, as a strategy to improve its competitiveness and focus, the  post-graduate programmes in FSKSM were re-organised  into five courses, each with clearly defined mission and objectives.  These courses are:

Doctoral Software Engineering
This program is designed for candidates who wish to obtain knowledge, skills and expertise in Information System theories and able to apply them to analyze and solve organizational problems. Program will train graduate to produce creative ideas and critical thinking to advance knowledge and share them with other researchers, academicians and industry. [more]

Doctor of Philosophy (Information Systems)
This program is designed for candidates who wish to obtain knowledge, skills and expertise in Information System theories and able to apply them to analyze and solve organizational problems. Program will train graduate to produce creative ideas and critical thinking to advance knowledge and share them with other researchers, academicians and industry. [more]

Master of Computer (Information Security)
This program is designed to produce professional and dedicated software engineers who will develop, manage and maintain software projects based on international standards, thus to support national vision to produce charismatic software engineers. This program will also expose the candidates to the real world and hands on environment based on local software industries. [more]

Master of Science (IT Management)
This program is designed for candidates who wish to obtain knowledge of applying Information Technology (IT) in Management context. It is open to applicants with a good Bachelor’s degree (with Honors) in Information Technology or from other disciplines other than the IT domain but within any of the mentioned contexts. However, all applicants must have some IT working experience. Candidates from a non-IT background must complete a maximum of four pre-requisite subjects upon enrolment in the program. They must pass these pre-requisite subjects before registering for the subsequent core subjects. [more]

Master of Science (Computer Science)
This programme is designed for candidates who wish to obtain more knowledge and skills in the area of Computer Science and to become an academician or researcher. Graduates from this programme will have necessary ground to pursue Computer Science at the Doctor of Philosophy level. [more]

Master of Software Engineering
