The mainstream programme is offered only at UTM Skudai campus. It is conducted either in full or part-time basis and applies to all modes of study. The special programme is offered to special groups of students in collaboration with companies or any specific organisation. The field of study is usually tailored towards the needs of the companies. The special programme is usually conducted on part-time basis at the company’s premise. The offshore programme is offered off-campus (outside UTM Skudai campus) at selected study centres. It is usually conducted on part-time basis where lectures are normally held at weekends.
Modes of study for the Masters degree programmes are either by taught course, by combination of taught course and research, or by research. Engineering Doctorate programme is a combination of taught course and research while Doctor of Philosophy programme is conducted by research.
