INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKSHOP In conjunction with ‘World Environment Day 2010’

     Recent onset of the industrialization has resulted in the accumulation and accelerated output of toxic and hazardous waste. Poor management and disposal will lead to environmental degradation and irreversible damage to theecosystem. Therefore, in conjunction with World Environment Day, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, UTM in collaboration with Department of Environment are pleased to invite industries/academicians/students to attend this short course on the use of a biological process to treat Cr (VI). This course can be a platform for interaction and exchanging ideas/experience between the industries, institution and enforcement agencies on how to come up with a better solution for industrial waste management.
